Real Estate Is Personal. So Is the Way I Serve.

MEET SHIRLEY ROSARIO · TAMPA BAY REALTOR®

For more than two decades, my family and I have called Florida home. I understand that moving is rarely just about finding a house. It can mean a new beginning, an important financial decision, or an entirely new chapter of life.

That’s why I approach real estate the same way I approach the relationships that matter most to me: with honesty, care, clear communication, and no pressure.

What Matters to Me

Honesty · Family · Faith · Community · Service

I believe people deserve clear information, honest guidance, and the freedom to make decisions without pressure.

Those values shape the way I live, the way I serve my community, and the way I care for my clients.

My Life Experience Shapes the Way I Work

I didn’t become a Realtor® simply because I liked houses.

Honest Conversations
I believe good real estate guidance starts with listening. Sometimes the right decision is to move forward; sometimes it is to slow down and ask another question.

Always Learning
Real estate changes. I stay informed, ask questions, do my homework, and bring in the right professionals when additional expertise is needed.

Community is Personal to Me
More than two decades serving families in our local community have shaped the way I connect with people and understand their needs.

I Understand Starting Over
My family and I made the move from New York to Florida ourselves. I understand the questions, uncertainty, and excitement that come with beginning somewhere new.

My Story

I was born in New York City, but a meaningful part of who I am was shaped in Ecuador, where I spent part of my childhood before returning to New York as a young woman.

Those different chapters of my life taught me early that home is more than a place — it’s where we build our lives, our relationships, and our sense of belonging.

When I returned to New York, life brought me one of its greatest gifts: my husband, Miguel. Together, we built our family, and eventually made the decision to start a new chapter in Florida.

More than two decades later, Tampa Bay is home. It’s where we raised our family, built our careers, became part of our community, and created a life together.

That journey is part of why real estate is so personal to me. I understand that moving isn’t simply about changing addresses. Sometimes it means leaving behind what is familiar, taking a chance on something new, and finding the place where your next chapter can begin.

The people behind my “why.”

My family has been at the heart of so many of the choices I’ve made, from building our life in Florida to the way I care for the families I serve today.

More Than Two Decades Connected to My Community

For more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with Hillsborough County Public Schools, serving families and communities throughout Tampa Bay.

Over the years, my roles and responsibilities have changed, but one thing has remained constant: working with people, listening to their needs, and understanding the communities they call home.

That experience shaped skills I bring into real estate every day: communication, patience, organization, problem-solving, and following through when someone is depending on me.

Life Outside Real Estate

Real estate is an important part of my life, but it isn’t all of my life.

I’m a wife and mom first. I value time with my family, traveling and experiencing new places, being involved in my community, and continuing to grow personally and professionally.

My faith is an important foundation in my life. It reminds me to lead with gratitude, serve people with integrity, and remember that success means more than what we accomplish professionally.

Some of my favorite moments are often the simplest ones: time with family, discovering a new place, enjoying Florida outdoors, or simply appreciating how much life has changed since we first made Tampa Bay home.

One of the Hardest Lessons I Learned About Homeownership

My experience with homeownership hasn’t always been easy. Like many families, ours faced a difficult season during the 2008 housing crisis, and we experienced the loss of a home.

That experience changed the way I understand homeownership. Behind every decision are real people, real families, and real emotions.

It’s one of the reasons I believe my clients deserve honest guidance, clear information, and someone who will never pressure them into a decision that isn’t right for them.
